Chapter 6 - The Digital War

The next three days were a blur of tactical warfare. We didn't use guns anymore; we used data. I had access to the Whitmore corporate servers, and my unit was the best in the business.

We systematically leaked every document, every forged bank transfer, and every piece of evidence regarding the medical trafficking ring to the global press. We hit the stock exchange, the social media giants, and the international criminal courts.

It was a digital blitzkrieg. By the end of day two, the Whitmore stock had plummeted by 80%. By day three, federal agents were raiding their headquarters.

Tessa was arrested in the middle of the gala—the very event where she had planned to celebrate her victory. I watched the live feed of her being dragged out in handcuffs, her face pale, her legacy crumbling into nothingness.

But it wasn't enough. I wanted them to know who beat them. I wanted them to know that their hubris was their undoing.

I issued a final statement from an anonymous source: "The truth is a fire. And you built your house out of straw."

I was no longer the CEO of a multi-billion dollar empire. I was a man with nothing left to lose and everything to gain. The transition was painful, but as I sat in the farmhouse, watching Maren feed the triplets, I knew that for the first time in my life, I was actually wealthy.
