Chapter 4 - The Violent Confrontation Inside The Study That Ended With My Father's Arrest By Federal Agents Triggered By My Secret Cloud Broadcast

"Open this door right this instant, or I swear to God I will take a sledgehammer to these hinges and drag you out by your hair!" my father's voice echoed through the heavy oak door with terrifying rage.
My heart hammered wildly against my ribs like a trapped bird, but instead of panicking, a cold, unnatural calm washed over me as I realized I had already uploaded every single scanned file to the secure cloud.
I slammed the heavy steel door of the safe shut, spun the dial into a randomized position, and shoved the camouflage mahogany bookshelf back into its exact original alignment just as a heavy blow struck the outer door.
Bang! Crash! The wood splintered loudly around the brass lock as my father threw his entire athletic weight against the door, snapping the internal latch mechanisms with brutal, unbridled fury.
The heavy oak door swung violently open, slamming against the interior wall with a thunderous echo that shook the framed photographs on the mahogany desk.
Julian stood in the doorway, his chest heaving under his rumpled dress shirt, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and his face twisted into an expression of murderous, incandescent rage.
Behind him stood Eleanor, clutching her silk robe tightly around her neck, her eyes wide with sheer panic as she peered over my father's broad shoulder into the dimly lit study.
"You little ungrateful parasite, what the hell do you think you are doing inside my private office at two o'clock in the morning?" Julian bellowed, taking two rapid, menacing strides toward me.
I didn't back down an inch; instead, I stood tall beside the mahogany desk, crossing my arms over my chest while holding my compact laptop firmly in my left hand like a shield.
"I know all about Project Horizon, Dad, and I know you murdered my mother just to cash in her ten-million-dollar life insurance policy and steal her family's corporate empire!" I shouted back fearlessly.
Julian stopped dead in his tracks, his color draining instantly from his face as the terrifying reality of my words hit him like a physical punch to the solar plexus.
"You don't know a damn thing, you delusional little liar, give me that laptop right now or I will make sure you spend the rest of your natural life locked away in a psychiatric asylum!" Julian hissed.
He lunged forward with terrifying speed, grabbing my wrist with a crushing grip that sent sharp pain shooting up my forearm, trying to wrench the computer out of my hands by sheer force.
"Let go of me! Help me! The federal agents are already watching this broadcast live!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, activating the emergency live-stream broadcast link I had programmed into my cloud server.
Within seconds, the high-definition camera on my laptop was streaming live audio and video footage of Julian's violent assault directly to the official public portal of the Department of Justice and major news networks.
"Julian, stop it, look at the front gate, look at the driveway!" Eleanor shrieked hysterically, pointing frantically through the floor-to-ceiling windows toward the front courtyard below.
A convoy of four unmarked black SUV vehicles with flashing blue and red emergency strobes embedded in their grilles had just smashed through the automated security gates, spraying gravel across the lawn.
Heavy doors slammed open in unison, and a dozen federal agents clad in tactical black body armor and helmets swarmed up the front stone steps with automatic weapons drawn.
"Federal Bureau of Investigation! Nobody move! Drop your weapons and put your hands behind your back where we can see them!" a booming amplified voice echoed through the mansion's intercom system.
Julian released my wrist as if I were burning hot coals, his face turning an ash-gray color as the heavy oak front door of the mansion was blown off its hinges with a deafening explosive breach charge.
Heavy combat boots pounded rapidly up the curved marble staircase, and within seconds, federal agents poured into the study, surrounding my father with their tactical weapons aimed squarely at his chest.
"Julian Vance, you are under federal arrest for wire fraud, corporate embezzlement, multi-million-dollar insurance fraud, and the suspected homicide of Elizabeth Vance," the lead federal investigator announced coldly.
Two agents forced my father to his knees, slapping heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists with a sharp, metallic click that signaled the definitive collapse of his glittering corporate empire.
Eleanor tried to slip quietly away down the hallway toward the master bedroom, but two female agents intercepted her instantly, pressing her face against the wallpaper and securing her wrists with plastic zip-ties.

I stood motionless in the center of the chaotic study, watching the man who had terrorized and abandoned me being dragged out of the house in handcuffs while flashbulbs from distant paparazzi cameras illuminated the night sky.
The nightmare that had begun with a cold shove on the glass patio door had finally reached its shattering climax, leaving me standing amidst the ruins of a golden cage that was never truly my home.
