Chapter 15 - The Vow Beneath the Stars and the True Legacy Realized

The glittering lights of the Oakhaven Grand Ballroom faded into a soft, romantic glow as the midnight hour approached and the charity gala drew to a close.

The attempted hostile takeover by Elena Vance had been neutralized swiftly and quietly behind closed doors, leaving the media none the wiser to the evening's high-stakes drama.

Graham and Emily walked hand-in-hand out onto the grand cliffside terrace of Weston Manor, far away from the flashing cameras and the noise of society.

The midnight rain began to fall in a gentle, rhythmic drizzle—reminiscent of the stormy night at the boutique hotel that had first brought their worlds crashing together.

Yet, tonight, the rain felt warm, cleansing, and peaceful, washing away every remaining vestige of the past pain, betrayal, and isolation.

Graham stopped near the edge of the stone balustrade, turning to face Emily as the gentle ocean breeze stirred her dark hair.

He reached slowly into his pocket, pulling out a small, velvet jeweler's box that gleamed softly under the starlit sky.

"When you checked me into room 204 on that rainy night, I was a drowning man with nothing left to lose," Graham whispered, his voice thick with raw, overwhelming emotion.

He dropped gracefully to one knee on the damp stone, opening the velvet box to reveal a magnificent, custom-designed diamond ring sparkling brilliantly.

"You didn't just save my company, Emily; you saved my heart, my soul, and my entire future," Graham continued, his dark eyes shining with unwavering devotion. "Will you stay under my umbrella forever, and be my wife?"

Tears of pure joy streamed down Emily’s cheeks as she looked down at the man who had humbled a billion-dollar empire just to find genuine human love.

"Yes, Graham," Emily choked out through a happy sob, pulling him up into her arms as he slid the dazzling ring onto her finger. "A lifetime contract, forever."
