Chapter 1 - The Angelic Stepmother
In the eyes of society—and especially to Raymond, the notorious billionaire CEO of a major financial empire—Elena was the epitome of grace, gentleness, and selflessness. After Raymond’s first wife passed away, Elena entered their lives like a breath of fresh air, soothing his broken heart and tending to his young daughter, Lily, with utmost devotion.
Every morning, Elena would personally prepare breakfast, braid Lily’s hair, and offer a smile as warm as autumn sunshine. Raymond loved her for that purity. Before their wedding, he had even proposed a notoriously strict prenuptial agreement to protect his family’s assets.
