Chapter 7 - The Panic in the Administrative Suite

Inside the administrative office, the calm, orderly atmosphere had disintegrated into pure, unadulterated panic.

Principal Thomas stared at his computer monitor where the exact same dossier had automatically opened via a priority broadcast link, playing the full, unedited compilation of classroom abuses, grade-falsification logs, and administrative cover-ups.

His phone was ringing continuously, the line jammed with frantic calls from the president of the school board, local news reporters demanding an immediate statement, and irate parents whose children had suffered similar mistreatment under Mrs. Carter’s tenure.

"Damn it!" Principal Thomas roared, slamming his fist onto the mahogany desk so hard his coffee mug tipped over, spilling dark liquid across confidential budget reports.

"Who authorized this broadcast?! Where did this footage come from?!"

The office door flew open without a knock, and Vice Principal Henderson burst into the room, his face pale and slick with nervous sweat.

"Thomas, have you seen the feeds?" Henderson stammered, holding his tablet out like it carried a biological contaminant.

"It’s everywhere. It’s on Twitter, it’s in the local news inbox, and three board members are already demanding an emergency executive session by noon. We are completely exposed."

"How is this possible?" Principal Thomas hissed, standing up so fast his chair rolled backward and crashed into the filing cabinet.

"Those hallway cameras are routed through our internal encrypted server! Nobody outside the administration has access to those feeds!"

"It wasn't a hallway camera, Thomas," Henderson said, his voice dropping to a trembling whisper as he zoomed in on a specific frame of the video file.

"Look at the angle. Look at the shadows in the back row. This was recorded from inside the classroom. Someone brought a hidden camera right into her room and recorded every single word."

Principal Thomas stared at the screen, watching the video loop through Mrs. Carter’s relentless humiliation of Dylan.

The realization hit him like a physical blow: this wasn't just a random act of student rebellion.

It was a meticulously planned, highly organized digital ambush designed to tear their entire administrative structure down to the studs.

"Get Mrs. Carter down to my office immediately," Principal Thomas ordered, his voice laced with venomous desperation.

"And find out which student sits in that back row. We need to control this narrative before the school board arrives, or we’re all going down with her."
