"Chloe, he used my money to buy this house. He used my money to buy those diapers. And worst of all, he and his mother forged a $3 million life insurance policy on my life. They were planning something terrible."

She gasped, covering her mouth.

"I am not here to destroy you," I told her, my voice softening just a fraction. "You have a child to protect. But Ryan is going to jail. And the bank is going to seize this house because it was bought with stolen funds. If you want to avoid being charged as an accomplice, you will give my lawyer everything you have on him. Every text, every lie, every financial promise."
