Chapter 14 - The Ultimate Judgment

A month passed, and the world outside the safehouse had finally realized that the Blackwood syndicate wasn't dying—it had been reborn with three times the power.
Nikolai Volkov and Kuroda didn't run from New York. They had gathered what was left of their global forces, occupying a massive private estate on the north shore of Long Island, preparing for a final, desperate siege against the Blackwood territory.
But we didn't wait for them to come to us.
It was a cold, misty morning when the Blackwood convoy arrived at the gates of the Long Island estate. I stood at the front of the line, wearing a long, tailored charcoal coat that matched Adrian's suit. My body had recovered, the scar across my stomach a permanent reminder of the price of my sovereignty.
Behind us stood a hundred elite soldiers, their weapons loaded, their faces set in stone.
Volkov stepped out onto the grand balcony of his estate, looking down at us with a hollow, desperate expression. He knew the Trinity Accord was dead. He knew his allies had abandoned him.
"You think you can destroy us all, Blackwood?" Volkov shouted down, his voice trembling against the cold wind. "The global market will never accept a waitress and three infants as the leaders of the East!"
I stepped forward, pulling a small, encrypted remote control from my pocket. It was connected to the automated banking servers that my mother and Adrian's tech teams had spent the last three weeks infiltrating.
"The global market doesn't care about your acceptance, Nikolai," I called back, my voice calm and icy clear. "As of five minutes ago, every single offshore account tied to the Volkov and Kuroda syndicates has been wiped clean. Your assets have been seized by the Blackwood holding firms. Your soldiers aren't being paid anymore. Look behind you."
Volkov spun around in shock as his own personal bodyguards slowly lowered their weapons, stepping away from him and bowing their heads as Marcus’s replacement, a young loyalist named Leo, walked through the front doors of the mansion.
"Your own men sold you out for a fraction of what you tried to steal from my children," I told him, looking up at the balcony with a expression of absolute disdain. "You are done."
Adrian stepped up beside me, his hand resting on his holster. "The Commission has officially revoked your territories. You have twenty-four hours to leave this continent, Volkov. If I see your face in New York after sunrise tomorrow, I will make sure what happened to Moreau looks like a mercy."
May you like
Volkov fell back against the balcony railing, his face completely drained of color as he realized his empire had vanished without a single shot being fired. The waitress from Queens had broken the global coalition with a digital keystroke and the sheer weight of her bloodline's claim.
