Chapter 15 - The Final Crescendo of Forever

Three months later, the Bellgrave Theater was filled not with the tension of a courtroom or the panic of a raid, but with the warm, golden light of absolute celebration.
The grand hall was adorned with thousands of white roses, and the air hummed with the soft, elegant melodies of a string quartet.
This was not a charity gala or a corporate press conference.
This was the wedding of Elena Marlow and Cassian Voss.
Standing at the altar before a gathering of their closest friends, Margaret Sterling, and international dignitaries, Elena looked breathtaking in a cascading gown of pristine white lace.
Cassian stood beside her, his traditional black tuxedo accentuating the fierce, protective devotion shining clearly in his gray eyes.
As the presiding minister pronounced them husband and wife, Cassian leaned down and sealed their vows with a deep, tender kiss that made the entire audience cheer.
Following the ceremony, the grand ballroom doors swung open to reveal the banquet hall, centered around the legendary Steinway grand piano.
Instead of hiring professional musicians for the reception’s opening piece, the lights dimmed softly.
Cassian stepped toward the piano, offering his hand to Elena.
“Shall we play our first duet as a married couple?” he asked softly, a rare, breathtaking smile touching his lips.
Elena looked up at him in surprise, her eyes sparkling with joy.
“You play?” she whispered.
“Only for you,” Cassian replied, leading her toward the bench.
They sat side by side, their shoulders touching in perfect harmony.
Elena began the familiar opening chords of her father’s masterpiece, the Impossible Concerto.
After the first four measures, Cassian joined in seamlessly, his hands executing the supporting harmony with astonishing precision and grace.
The music soared through the vaulted ceiling of the theater, rich, triumphant, and eternal.
The guests rose to their feet, applauding through happy tears as the melody filled the room.
Elena turned her head slightly as the final chord faded into the warm evening air, looking at the man who had given her his strength, his loyalty, and his heart.
“You kept your promise, Cassian,” she whispered.

“I always keep my promises, Elena,” Cassian answered, pulling her close against his side.
“Especially the ones that last a lifetime.”
