Chapter 15 - The Eternal Guardian of the Obsidian Estate

The morning of Sorrel’s departure arrived with clear skies and a crisp, refreshing breeze that swept across the sprawling lawns of the Obsidian Estate.
A sleek black luxury sedan waited at the front gates, its engine idling softly as the driver loaded Sorrel’s luggage into the trunk.
On the grand stone porch, Hadrian stood side-by-side with his daughter, watching the sunrise paint the sky in brilliant shades of amber, gold, and violet.
Sorrel looked stunning in a sharp, professional travel outfit, her hair cascading down her shoulders, her eyes shining with the bright, unfiltered promise of the future.
She turned to her father, throwing her arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest one final time before she left the nest he had fought so desperately to protect.
"I'll call you the second I land, Daddy," Sorrel promised, her voice thick with a mixture of excitement and nostalgic sorrow.
"Take all the time you need, sweetheart," Hadrian whispered, kissing the top of her head as he held her close for a long, quiet moment.
"Go out there and conquer the world. Make them see what true strength looks like."
Sorrel pulled back with a radiant, confident smile, nodding firmly before walking down the steps and sliding into the backseat of the waiting vehicle.
The car door closed with a soft, solid thud, and moments later, the vehicle glided smoothly down the long, tree-lined driveway, disappearing into the morning mist.
Hadrian stood on the stone porch long after the taillights had faded from view, his hands resting casually in his pockets, a quiet, peaceful smile gracing his face.
He had built an empire, survived a nightmare, and protected the most precious thing in his entire existence against impossible odds.

The Obsidian Estate stood proud and unyielding behind him, no longer a dark fortress of hidden secrets, but a radiant sanctuary of eternal light and absolute protection.
Hadrian turned back toward the grand oak doors of the house, stepping inside and letting them close softly behind him, ready to write the next chapter of a legacy that would echo through the ages.
